

What should have been a routine errand draws Thia Redleaf, a principled half‑elf paladin; Boblathian “Bob” Corgimeer, a nimble rogue with a talent for trouble; Grim, Daughter of Cyrvonth, a half‑dragon sorcerer wrestling with the weight of her lineage; and Cookie, an eccentric chef‑alchemist whose solutions are as unpredictable as his recipes, to the remote and uneasy Wilderness Keep. The fortress is plagued by strange noises, skeletal vermin, and guards too frightened to speak plainly, hinting that something beneath the stone walls has begun to twist the natural order.
As the party investigates, they uncover hidden tunnels, corrupted creatures, and signs that a malevolent force is slowly consuming the keep from within. Their mismatched skills — Thia’s resolve, Bob’s stealth, Grim’s volatile magic, and Cookie’s bizarre ingenuity — become the only shield between the keep’s inhabitants and the darkness creeping up from the depths. What began as a simple debt‑settling delivery becomes a fight for survival and the first step into a mystery far larger than any of them expected.
